LIBRARY

St Pauls Library is a small satellite library run by Bristol City Council providing all the usual library services and activities, including computers available for public use.  To book a computer call 0117 9145489 during library opening hours.

Glen has been serving authentic Caribbean food in Bristol for 30 years, and was even featured on the Christmas episode of Remarkable Places to Eat on BBC2 where he was described as making "the best Caribbean food in Bristol"!

Available to eat in and as takeaway, and Glen can also cater for meetings, events and parties. For more info call 07772 177509

Darkroom

COMMUNITY DARKROOM

Available for private practice and exclusive use as a training facility, the St Paul's Community Darkrooms are an exceptionally well equipped and affordable resource.

 

One of the only Darkrooms in the Bristol and Bath area offering both Black and White and Colour facilities, it is well serviced by local experts  Real Photography Company who provide full and thorough inductions and courses.

The darkroom features:

​

  • 10 enlargers: 35mm, medium format, and 4 x 5 inch

  • Floor standing enlarger with height adjustable printing surface

  • Black & white printing room

  • Black & white film processing room

  • Durst Printo colour printing unit - 12 x 16 inch

  • Daylight film and print drying and finishing room with light box

  • Large UV exposure box for cyanotypes and alternative processes

3hr session = £12 members/£20 non-members

Workshop

WORKSHOP

Our workshop is run by Makershed Bristol, who set up here in 2018.

 

They run workshops and classes in woodworking, furniture making, power tools from beginners through to intermediate and advanced independent projects.
