Free space for any event or workshop celebrating, exploring or amplifying Black History, culture and lived experience through education, creativity, conversation or community support.

Please note: To benefit from our free space offer, events must be free to attend.

WHERE

Our BHM offer is for the SPLC

Community Cafe Space only:

 

  • Ground floor location

  • Fully accessible 

  • Max 30 seated | 60 standing 

  • Warm, welcoming community setting 

  • Home to Glen’s Kitchen​​​

WHEN

October 1 - 31

Weekdays:

Mon - Thurs, 6.30pm - 9pm*​

Weekend:

Sunday, 10am - 3.30pm*

 

(*includes set-up & pack down)

WHY

We want to support our local community and contribute to Black History Month by providing free space as a resource for initiatives that bring Black communities together.

​​​

We specifically encourage Black-led organisations, local groups and individuals who do not otherwise receive funding to make use of this offer.​​
