Promoting Eye care Practice for Children with Learning Disabilities (PEPChiLD)

We know that children with a learning disability often have eye and sight problems.

We also know that it can be difficult to visit eye care services.

We are a group of researchers who want to find out why children with a learning disability find it hard to visit eye care services. We want to understand what the issues are so that we can find ways of improving eye care services for children with a learning disability.

If your child is unable or doesn’t want to participate in the focus group, we will ask the family members to answer the questions.

We are seeking the experiences of ‘families’ and not specific members of each family.

We are interested to hear from all families with a child who has a learning disability of any type, whether or not you have accessed eye care previously. There is no minimum age of the…
