'Off the peg' sewing courses - Beginners classes
Over the 3 sessions, you’ll learn the very basics, learning how to thread up your sewing machine, how to wind a bobbin and simple troubleshooting.
Bringing along your own sewing machine is by far the best way to learn, so when you take it back home, you’ll feel more confident to use it. However, if you don’t have your own machine let me know and I’ll hopefully be able to provide one.
We’ll then sew some basic seams and gain an understanding of seam allowances. Moving onto some more technical seams, ideal for home sewing. Using your new skills, you’ll make a box bag with a zip!
