About the event

This course starts on the 14th of January and runs for six weeks on Wednesday afternoons between 2.00pm and 5.00pm. Explore interrupting and intervening in traditional darkroom practices such as double exposure, toning and tinting, and retouching. Participants will learn how to create one-off darkroom prints using techniques that have inspired Photoshop, such as layering, cutting and pasting, filters and creating masks, and achieving distortions.

This course is aimed at proficient darkroom users that want to learn to alter, intervene and create unique prints in the darkroom.
