About the event

Cowfolk Radical Film Club: St Pauls and the uprising

A powerful film screening and discussion exploring Black resistance in Bristol.

Organised by Cowfolk Radical Film Club

About your Event:

Easton Cowfolk Radical Film Club launches a 3-part series on the history, struggle and resilience of Black communities in the UK, with a specific focus on Bristol.

Part 1 (23/03/26) highlights the discrimination, racism and oppression faced in recent decades, providing history and context that are often overlooked. It also explores the resistance of the community in the struggle to be treated as human beings – seeking equality and justice within systems that were not built for us.
