About the event
Six weekly sessions starting on Thurs 10 Oct 2024 6 - 8.30pm | £145 (Course fee includes all darkroom chemistry and photographic paper)
Suitable for beginners, or anyone wanting to refresh darkroom skills.
We will look at using your film camera, discuss camera controls and composition, and learn how to develop your own black and white film. Then you will make contact sheets, practise darkroom skills, and produce beautiful black and white prints in a small and friendly group. Darkroom equipment, enlargers, photographic film and paper, processes and chemistry will be explained so that you will feel confident using the darkroom independently following the course.
Please bring a film camera, (35mm or medium format) and provide your own black and white film(s). If you would like to borrow a film camera please ask - we have some available.
