Job positions available: Propagation Place Project Assistants

Propagation Place Project is recruiting for 5 lovely short-term roles at our Social Enterprise project based at St Werburghs City Farm.

2 x Propagation Place Project Assistants (6-month contract) 20 hours per week

We are looking for 2 people to join our small team for the 2025 growing season (for 6 months) to be responsible for picking and packing and dispatch of vegetable plug plants in collaboration with our nursery staff and other seasonal workers. If you're a good team player, well-organised, have experience picking & packing orders for dispatch and have a keen interest in horticulture, get in touch! Apply by 31 January 2025

 

  • 2 x Propagation Place - Project Assistants (3-month contract) 20 hours per week

  • Propagation Place Customer Service Officer 6-month contract  (15 hrs/week)  

We are looking for a person to join our small team for the 2025 growing season to help us maintain our excellent standard of customer service by responding to customer enquiries, processing order information and ensuring we remain an excellent source of online horticultural information.   Apply by 31 January 2025

 

Propagation Place is committed to providing accessible career pathways into the field of horticulture and individual mentoring, networking and CV development is built into the roles as needed.  

Therefore, we particularly welcome applicants between the ages of 18-24, people who may be claiming Universal Credit, or people who have previously faced barriers to employment in land-based industries.
