£8.91 p/h

Hours: 3 days p/w Subject to 6 month review

PRSC is seeking to expand its manufacturing capability. Working within an arts based context, we are seeking two new recruits, preferably with some experience in the creative field, to expand our small but growing operation, to become permanent members of our team. We continue to build a commercially viable business based firmly in the arts. The work will be principally within the context of our china decorating operation, but will encompass other linked aspects of our business, which will include screen printing and work on furniture etc. The successful candidate will be adaptable and willing to explore all aspects of our enterprise.


The Job

  • Making/decorating our standard lines of fine bone china

  • Packing and unpacking the kilns

  • Fulfilling and packaging wholesale orders

  • Basic administration

  • Liaising with retail manager

  • Ensuring that the work environment is organised


Skills & experience

The successful candidate will be:

  • Enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills

  • Adaptable and willing to undertake a broad range of tasks

  • Responsible and reliable

  • Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision

  • Able to prioritise and manage own work load

  • Able to focus on small batches of repetitive tasks

  • Attention to detail will be crucial


Ideally the successful candidate will have some of the following skills:

  • Basic IT/administrative skills (eg. spreadsheets, email, record keeping)

  • A working knowledge of Photoshop and other design based software.

  • An interest in Art, and some experience of collage would be of advantage

  • Curiosity

  • Some knowledge of the PRSC and our work.

  • An interest in the wider themes in which PRSC engages would be desirable.
