ABOUT THE UNITARIAN MEETING HALL
The Unitarian Meeting Hall in Brunswick Square has a 19th Century Grade II listed façade that was the original entrance gate to the burial grounds (now know as the Brunswick Cemetery Gardens) located behind the building. The main hall was constructed onto the rear of this original building in 1991 when it became the new home of the Lewin’s Mead Unitarian congregation. The hall is still owned by the Unitarians and used as a place of worship every Sunday afternoon. The Ethical Property Company are responsible for the day to day running of the hall and managing all external bookings. If you are interested in hiring the hall please have a read of our terms and conditions and then request the dates you are interested in via our online calendar. A member of staff will then be in touch to confirm the details with you.
Hire comprises of the main hall, including seating for up to 55 people, use of the piano, PA system and self-contained kitchen. The second floor of the building consists of private offices and access to these areas are not included within the hire.
The main entrance, hall and toilets are fully wheelchair accessible and the PA system includes a hearing loop.
The hall is well suited to a variety of uses including public meetings, yoga or dance classes, private parties or social group gatherings. The hall can either be hired for one off events or regular bookings and can be hired by the hour or for a full day (9am – 11pm).
